I have used several chalk buckets, and I looked into many more styles. There are many chalk buckets available, and most have a very similar design that is very simple.
The Problem
More can be done to make the production of chalk buckets better for the environment.

Ideation
I experimented with many different ideas for different styles, but ultimately chose a style that is very simple but still effective and has everything the user needs.
I made a quick mock up to test the pattern, then moved on to the final.

This chalk bucket is made almost entirely of recycled materials. The outer material was previously a billboard, the lining is made of up-cycled sweatpants, and the zipper came off an old bag.
Product Features
The roll top design with a carabiner closure makes it easy to access the chalk, and to attach tape and other essentials.
The large front pocket is the perfect size to hold your phone and any other small items you need with you.
The durable and water resistant fabric keeps your chalk clean and dry.
The up-cycled sweatpants material makes the inside soft, which aids in chalking up and increases comfort.
The built in chalk brush holder will keep your brush handy.
