BOULDERALLS
A NEW STATEMENT IN CLIMBING FASHION

Research
I researched what is available for women's climbing pants as well as drew on my experience as a climber, and from the experiences of other climbers in my community to develop a broader understanding of women's climbing apparel.
The Problem
Most women's rock climbing apparel has a very similar aesthetic. I saw an opportunity to bring a new look to climbing fashion. Many women's climbing pants are also too tight and restrain movement.

INTERESTED IN FASHION AND ROCK CLIMBING
SALT LAKE CITY, UT
Brooke loves to rock climb and get outside. She also loves to spend time in the city and express herself through fashion. She has been looking for an outfit that will stand out while climbing without having to sacrifice functionality or comfort.
Inspiration
Ideation
I looked to fashion outside the climbing industry for inspiration. I modified the idea of a pair of overalls to fit the necessary criteria for a technical apparel item. This design has the feeling of street wear but the functionality of traditional rock climbing apparel.
Prototypes
I used the low fidelity prototype to assess the initial fit of the garment. Next I used the mid fidelity prototype to dial in the fit and to work out the other kinks in the pattern.
Final Product
These boulderalls are the perfect way to let your style shine while on the wall without sacrificing functionality or comfort.
Product Features
